Hi Erika,
Oh, I don't like the thought of anyone having to power through their hunger. Hopefully I didn't sound too harsh when I said I skip breakfast, but I found that I like having my two cups of coffee with whole milk in the morning while I have my reading and writing time and save my meal for brunch or lunch. Most days I am just not hungry until noon, but on the days I am hungry, I make myself a bowl of fruit and sit down at the table to eat it. I shouldn't tell on my husband, but, he peels himself an orange in the morning and eats it over the sink, which I think does not really register in your mind as having eaten! The act of sitting down to eat is important.
I would find a way to eat that satisfies you, uniquely, which sounds as if you could have a light breakfast and a light lunch, then a medium dinner and a piece of dessert after dinner. Use your clothes as your guide. If after a few days they fit a bit snugly, don't panic, just cut out something you won't really miss and still have your dessert. I would feel deprived without dessert, but not without bread! So that is what I cut out first and find my clothes fitting fine. You can always fill up on vegetables and fruit without worry, so no need to feel hungry.
Thanks again for your comments and questions. I wish you happy dessert eating and much success!

Hi Debbie,
In the morning, when you skip breakfast, do you just get through being hungry with the coffee? I definitely love dessert and would like to have a piece every day and skip breakfast and wait till after dinner when I can sit down and really enjoy it.

Hi Erika! Those are great questions! Most nights I have a huge chocolate chip cookie with m&ms (measuring about 4 by 4 inches! Seriously, I have to have my sweets. As for a favorite chocolate, I tend to buy any good (meaning usually Swiss) dark or semi-sweet chocolate bar (I go for the 100 gram size!) I do love a big piece of chocolate cake or a large brownie too. I will take a picture of the next piece of cake I eat and send it to you. Now that is the only sweet I will have in any given day. Happy eating and thanks again for your questions!
